Hello, hello!

Oh man, telling one’s story can be a task - where do I even begin, am I saying too much, are they going to think I’m crazy? I’ll give it a shot.

I’ve been interested in looking and feeling my best for as long as I can remember. What was once fueled by the need to be perfect to finally feel worthy of love, evolved into understanding that I am human and have the tools to feel healthy and confident. It has been, and still is, an incredible journey towards true health, happiness and contentment. Truth is, when I eat a lot of vegetables, move often, drink a lot of water and think positively I just feel good - and feeling good in your own skin feels goooood.

My journey stemmed from comments made about my appearance, specifically my weight. Being my sassy, passionate, Capricorn self (fellow Caps, you know), I dove headfirst into researching how to be skinny. It was a long and dark hole to go down - diets, weight loss “tricks”, programs promising immediate results. I would try anything, something please work! I felt so desperate. All of this work was insightful and confusing. All of the information out there can lead you feeling totally lost. So it took more research, more experimentation and learning to listen to myself. Fortunately if you keep on looking, you’ll finally find the answer. The need that I felt to look like everyone else around me ended up teaching me more than I ever could have imagined. I learned what being healthy truly was. Finally, I felt better in my body and mind. When you start to eat well, you feel better, who would have thought? And when you feel better, everything else gets easier.

I get it. I’ve gained weight, felt lost, skipped a workout, woken up with a hangover, avoided my reflection in the mirror, eaten too much, tried every diet and cried about the discomfort within myself. I’ve also lost weight, felt amazing, killed workouts, danced around my room naked and fueled my body properly day after day. A balance is attainable. It takes consistent effort, intention and guidance. Once you get there (or almost get there?) it feels good.

After 8 years of personal research, I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied over 100 different dietary theories and many practical lifestyle coaching methods.

I’m just a human - but I practice what I preach, I have the education and I want to help you avoid the 8-year-long process that I went through to finally feel good. The best part about this beautiful mess we call life, is that we control our outcome. The decisions that we make shape our destiny, whether that means eating fast food, getting eight hours of sleep, dating the wrong guy, running a marathon or being content with who we are. We decide.
